Hathazari Madrasa is full of slogans

Students of Darul Uloom Moinul Islam Hathazari Madrasa, the oldest Qaumi Madrasa in the country, have been protesting for five points, including the resignation of Anas Madani, son of Allama Ahmad Shafi.

It is learned that since Wednesday afternoon, most of the students of the madrasa have been in the field demanding various things including expulsion of Anas Madani.

The demands of the movement,

(1) Maulana Anas Madani should be expelled from the madrasa immediately.

 (2)  Provide institutional facilities to students and stop all forms of harassment.

(3) As Shaykhul Hadith Allama Ahmad Shafi is disabled, he has to be made an advisor by honorably resigning from the post of Director General.

(4) The full authority and appointment of teachers must be entrusted to the Shura.

(5) The Haqqani scholars of the past shura have to be reinstated and the controversial members removed.
